Class 4 2023 - 2024

                  The Summer term is upon us. 

We have lots of fun to look forward to including:

Y5/6 residential

Halle Concert

KS2 End of Year performance

Here is some idea of our topics this half term:

English- We will be working from a book called "The Promise" by Nicola Davies.

Geography- We will looking at biomes and vegetation belts.

History- The Vikings and Anglo Saxons- Was Alfred really "great?"

Maths- More fabulous White Rose Maths, TTRockstars

PE-  Swimming, Dance and Football

Science- Eating and Digestion and  Seeing Light

ART- Printing and creating a banner for Lindow Mos

CLASS READ- "Rooftoppers"  by Katherine Rundell to be followed by a Ben Miller of our choice.

DT- Cooking and Nutrition

RE-  “How and why do people try to make the world a better place?”

Important Reminder:

Swimming for everyone on Mondays- Please make sure to send in the kit on Monday mornings.

PE lessons for Class 4 are on Wednesdays and Fridays. It is essential that every child has a PE kit in school, every week.

Year 5- Please note that football with Stockport FC will continue to be on Friday afternoons. In this term, it is particularly  important that the children have warm clothing and separate footwear. Please make sure to send a separate bag,( a carrier bag is fine), to carry home muddy boots or trainers.
