Collective Worship

Our pupils take part in an act of collective worship every day and these are planned across the year to enhance children's spiritual and moral development, and also to support learning in their personal and social development.

Our worship follows this pattern:

Monday at 10.00am - Whole school worship led by HT / DHT based on Christian values and inspired by current news stories / poems / pupils’ suggestions

Tuesday at 2.25pm - Hymn Practice led by teaching and support staff

Wednesday at 10.00am - Class Worship led by each class in turn linked to the worship theme of the week

Thursday at 9.00am - Church Assembly in St Anne’s Church – led by clergy / school staff

Friday at either 10.00am or 2.25pm - Good News Assembly led by Headteacher during which individual and class achievement is celebrated leading to increased self esteem and appreciation of each others’ skills and talents
