Pupil Premium Grant

Pupil Premium Grant 2019-20

The school received £13,840 of Pupil Premium funding in total. This includes funding allocated for the following groups of pupils:

  • Ever 6 FSM
  • Looked after children
  • Children who are post-LAC
  • Children of personnel working in the armed services

The amount received at St Anne’s Fulshaw is considerably less than the average amount received by primary schools across the country.

As fewer than ten pupils were in receipt of PPG, we are not required to report publicly on the achievement of these pupils. Governors monitor the impact of PPG funding annually.

Pupil Premium Grant 2020-21

The school will receive £12,760 of Pupil Premium funding in total.

What will we use the funding for? Our aims for this year are

  • to provide additional services and support for pupils with regards to  their emotional well-being through the employment of our Learning Mentor and Mental Health Lead
  • to provide curriculum support and additional study support sessions (teachers and teaching assistants) for the identified pupils

What impact will it have?

  • improvements in pupils’ emotional well-being, self-esteem and mental health
  • improved attendance for those pupils who may find being in school more challenging
  • improved rates of progress and raised levels of attainment as support sessions will provide opportunities for over-learning and reinforcement of key concepts
  • improved confidence and capacity to access a higher level of challenge in learning
  • measurable accelerated progress in the key areas of reading, writing and mathematics
