Safeguarding
Safeguarding pupils is at the heart of everything we do at St Anne’s Fulshaw.
All our staff and governors have basic safeguarding training.
Ms Daniel is our Designated Safeguarding Lead.
Mrs Davies and Mrs Chapman are our Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads.
Our DSL and DDSLs have additional training to fulfil their roles and attend a termly update meeting to make sure that they are completely up to date with all issues.
Mrs Petrie is our governor with responsibility for safeguarding.
Ms Daniel, Mr Williamson and Ms Drabble have been trained in Safer Recruitment, which ensures that they follow the best practice when recruiting staff members to the school team.
Our Child Protection and Safeguarding Policy 2024 is attached below and is updated at least once every year.
