Lunch Menu and Healthy Snacks
Nicky, our cook makes all our meals on site and they are always delicious! Our food is locally sourced and high quality. We have the freedom to shop around for the very best available. For example, our meat is purchased from our local butcher A Lang, whom many of you use for your own cooking at home. It is delivered weekly to school, and items such as burgers are all hand made.
We love to support our local neighbours along Chapel Lane, and Paresh from our Go Local Extra supplies us with all our dried and tinned goods, as well as dairy items. He was even kind enough to give all the children an Easter Egg this year. It is lovely to be part of such a kind and close knit community.
School lunches cost £2.90 per day and payment can be made by cash or via the School Spider app.
All infant pupils (in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 / Oak and Maple Classes) will receive a free school meal. Please let Mrs Clark in the school office know if you do not want to take up this offer.
Children in Maple, Chestnut and Oak Classes may bring a healthy snack to school every day or may purchase a snack from the school kitchen.
Oak Class children have a snack provided in the classroom and may bring their snack money into school weekly or half termly.
