Learning Outside the Classroom Thursday 26th March

Hello lovely children, another sunny day! How lovely J
We managed to take a short walk outside last night when it was very quiet. We saw people walking, running and riding bikes. I wonder how you are all managing to take some exercise. There are some great challenges and ideas from @SSPmacc and @embracepeltd on Twitter. Maybe you could take part in these every day to keep yourselves fit and healthy.
Thank you to everyone who had a go at yesterday’s challenge, there were some really brilliant ideas.
Today’s challenge is slightly different; you’ll need to use your imagine for this one……
Arthur Rackham is a famous illustrator – you might like to look at some of his work on the internet today for inspiration. This illustration is from The Brothers Grimm Fairy Tales and is inspired by the phrase ‘By day she made herself into a cat.’ I think she looks like a very grumpy black cat!
I was wondering, if you could change yourself into an animal, which one would it be? What would you look like? Where would you live? What would you eat? Would you have the same name? You can present your work in any way:
- If you are writing about your character and want to upload text, then upload it directly to this page as a response
- If you are drawing or creating an image, send it as a file to my email address head@stannesfulshaw.net and I will post all the images in a gallery
I have also attached a lovely poster that you can download and complete to help you organise your thoughts and activities while you are staying at home.
