Learning Outside the Classroom Wednesday 1st April

Hello children, I hope you managed to enjoy the last of the sunshine (for now) over the weekend. We had a little bit of a family health emergency on Sunday evening and so had to ask the ambulance service for some help and advice. They made me feel very glad that we have people working in our community to help and support us when we are ill or worried about being ill. It started me thinking about all the things that I am thankful for, particularly at the moment. I started to make a list. Some of my entries include the following:
- I am thankful for my family because I love them all very much and they love me too
- I am thankful for my pets because they are loving and funny and they help me to feel calm when I am worried about things
- I am thankful for the people that I work with because they always look after each other, make each other laugh and are excellent at checking on people when they might be poorly or sad or frightened
- I am thankful for nature because when I step outside and breathe in the fresh air and the scent of plants and blossom, it makes me feel calm and peaceful
Could you share some of the things that you are thankful for? Your list can be as long or as short as you choose to make it. You might also have some of the same things on it as I do, or your list might be completely different. I would love to read it. Post it as a comment at the bottom of this page by logging in below.
