Welcome to Chestnut Class

Happy New Year everyone. Please can I just thank all the parents who sent me such generous presents at Christmas, thank you very much. I hope everyone has had the time to rest and recharge over the Christmas holidays.

Here are some of the things we have to look forward to this term...

English- Our next text will be The Whale by Ethan and Vita Murrow

Geography- We will be learning about settlements

Maths- More fabulous White Rose Maths, TTRockstars

PE- Football with Stockport FC continues.**

Science- Learning about forces and magnets

Art - Adam Frezza- paper sculpture

Music - our curriculum lessons will continue with Mrs Young and clarinet lessons for Year 4

RE- How beliefs shape lives over time and considering our own personal beliefs.

IT- Computing systems- journey inside a computer

** Please remember that all children will need a PE kit on Thursdays and Fridays. This must include a change of footwear for football, shin pads and clothes warm enough for whatever the weather throws at us this term. A change of socks is always a good idea, particularly for the girls wearing tights. **
