Poetry competition

The School Council agreed to run a poetry competition in school this term. Every member of the school community is to perform a poem they have learned by heart. The reward is a full hour of playtime on the last Friday afternoon of term. As children perform their poem, we will record them and put them onto the website for parents to enjoy. A poetree will be installed in the library in the entrance hall where children can add a leaf with the details of their chosen poem, once they have performed it. Friends and visitors to school are also welcome to  join in!
